Established in 1996, a Queensland based supplier in association with manufacturing of High Pressure Cleaners, Drain & Duct Cleaning Machines, Surface Cleaners, Industrial Vacuum Cleaners, Floor Sweepers, Floor Scrubbers and Carpet Cleaning equipment. Aus Waterblasters has grown to become a major distributor within Australia and the Asia/Pacific Region. Our extensive range of equipment covers electric, petrol and diesel driven pumps, hot or cold water from 1500 psi through to 7300 psi, Industrial Vacuum Cleaners with up to three motors and 205 litres waste capacity and a full range of accessories to suit.

In 1999 we won a major project with the Department of Defence for their F-111 fleet at RAAF base Amberley. After further research we discovered many new and challenging applications for the Ultra High equipment and Process Pumps within Australia, hence the inception of Ultra High Waterblasters (Aust) Pty Ltd. An agency agreement for Asia Pacific was established with Hughes Pumps UK, forging a strong business partnership with a commitment to the region. Some of our Ultra High customers are; Harbourworks Pty Ltd Newcastle, Ok Tedi Mining PNG, Ron Phos Limited Nauru, Consort Express Lines PNG & Australia, Steamships PNG & Boeing Australia (formerly RAAF 501 Wing).

The Hughes company can be traced back to 1868, involved in various trading & engineering roles. Founded by Mr F.A. Hughes, the company celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 1968 at which time also became involved in packaging water jetting equipment. By 1970 the company was producing its own JETIN high pressure pump range at its London factory, being worldwide pioneers in the early days of the water jetting industry. In 1990 the company relocated to Washington, West Sussex.By 1998 the company was producing pumps & systems rated to 2750 bar (40,000 psi) & 375 kW (500 hp) using state of the art CNC machine tools.

In 2004 the company moved into a brand new, purpose built, 15,000 square feet factory, still in Washington, West Sussex & received ISO 9001 : 2000 accreditation. This new facility will support the companies plan for steady growth over the coming years. A privately owned company managed by a dynamic management team with decades of international experience between them in the high pressure pumping & water jetting industries.Today Hughes Pumps are the only company in the UK who manufactures a complete high pressure pump range in house allowing control of lead times, quality, development, spare parts stock holding and vital after sales support.
